A fan of Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has shared a sad experience he encountered at Ridge Hospital in Accra.
The anonymous fan who visited someone admitted at the hospital said he was prevented from sitting by the side of the patient and he was instructed to use visitors shade outside after delivering some items to the patient.
However, in an attempt to use the sitting area, a security man on duty told him he cannot sit there but can rather stand.
In a video sighted by zionfelix.net, the disappointed fan narrated how others were standing at the area purposely made for them to sit.
He explained that the security man disclosed he has been ordered by his superiors not to allow anyone to sit at the visitors waiting area. Other visitors waiting area close to the information desk at the hospital was visibly empty while visitors are standing outside.
Others who couldn’t stand were seen sitting on a close-by pavement.
Sarkodie retweeted the video after it caught his attention.
The prolific rapper wrote: “It’s really that bad how we treat our own people … like I never get this!!! You build this huge facility but can’t find no sitting area for people? So what’s the essence??”
